(This price gets you the radio, rubber duck antenna, one 1200 MA battery, and a drop-in charger.
The radio is also available in a 2 meter/222mhz model.)

USB Cable & programming Software                      $18
(This package lets you program the radio from a computer, and keep a file of 
the memory and menu settings.
The software can be downloaded from a website, which is listed on the paper 
in the USB cable package.
Both the driver and the software versions as of June 10, 2010, are included on this disc.)

1700 mAh Battery                             $24
(This is a good second battery to have. It's heavier than the 1200 MAH battery 
that comes with the radio. 
You can charge one battery while the other battery is in use.)

AA Battery Pack                                $8
(holds 5 double A batteries)

12v Battery Eliminator                       $12
(You need this to use with a power supply, in the car, etc.
It snaps onto the radio in place of the battery, and has a 
cigarette lighter cable hard wired into it.)

SMA - BNC Adapter                           $5
(If you don't buy any other accessory, by all means get this one. 
The radio uses an odd connector for the antenna. 
This adapter allows you many more antenna options, especially for mobile or base use.)

External Speaker/microphone $14
(A good idea if you use the radio with a mobile antenna or other base antennas.)

Leather Case                                   $10
(You can operate the radio while it is in the case, but have to remove it in order 
to charge or change batteries.
The case comes with a detachable neck strap.)

Dual Slot Charger                             $24
(This charger allows you to charge two batteries at the same time.)
